About Us

Our mission is to guide our clients through their challenging situations by engaging in open and honest dialogue in a safe environment. We are committed to helping our clients increase their self-esteem, change their behavior, to overcome their personal or relationship struggles, while maintaining a non-judgmental attitude.

A Bit About Therapy

We implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations.

It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and counselor alike.

But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.

Intentional Individual and Couples Therapy
Choosing to gaze inward can be a strong yet vulnerable path, tuned to your unique life experience. Opting to be seen in these moments is a monumental process. With you as the expert of your life, I specialize in the transpersonal realm to jointly explore and make meaning of issues. From in utero to present moment, increasing mindful awareness and discovery is a method to alter well-worn paths within. Utilizing mind, body and intentional honesty in session can flex cognition and expand new potential sequences.
My past professional careers include general contracting, rescuing Frenchies, barbering, and male youth residential treatment.
My passions include men’s mental health, LBGTQIA+ communities, and domestic violence advocacy. The overall lens is to create community and harm reduction.
Although not currently offered, I am a huge advocate of psilocybin therapy from journey work to repair in right relationship relative to the laws of origin. We are all interconnected and in this human existence together.
Whether couples counseling or individual, I honor your integrity and bravery.

Just on the down low
I’m feeling pretty low
Some days I feel fine
Others, I don’t know
I got a sensory road block
I’m in a binary mind lock
So I’m dancing in lockstep
To the music that I can’t hear, yeah
-King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, song Interior People

My name is Nick Bremer, and I am a LLMSW. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in sociology. I graduated with my master’s from Western Michigan University in Social Work with a clinical emphasis.
Life can be difficult, and tackling challenges alone can feel overwhelming. No one should face hard times without support, and my goal is to help people navigate these struggles. I see therapy as a collaborative process—a 50/50 partnership—where you are the expert of your own life, and we work together as a team to achieve your goals. My approach to therapy is client-focused, approachable, and authentic; having it feel more like a natural conversation than a clinical process. I strive to create a grounded and compassionate environment, getting to know each person to form a meaningful therapeutic bond. I recognize that each individual and their surrounding circumstances are unique, and I aim to support you in a way that is genuinely beneficial to your needs.
I have experience working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as helping people manage trauma, anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. I have worked with children, youth, teens, and young adults, helping them identify unhelpful thinking and behaviors. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, along with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused strategies. Additionally, I support those struggling to gain independence by utilizing the Transitions to Independence Process (TIP) model.
